Any form of transport is tiring, and flying is no exception, particularly long-haul. Fatigue and changes of time zone can be disorientating and driving under these circumstances can be hazardous at best. When this is considered, and the cost of car parking taken into account, then door to door transport by professionals, makes good sense.
Your chauffeur knows each airport well, and will ensure that you are delivered to the correct terminal for your particular flight.
We monitor flight departure information and will be able to advise you if your flight is likely to be late departing. However, it is very unusual for airlines to permit you to arrive later than your normal check-in time, so be prepared to leave at the agreed collection time. This time is calculated to get you to your destination comfortably. Please do not expect us to break the law to make up time if you are late for your collection, or you change your airport without notifying us prior to your journey.
We also monitor flight arrival information and we will know if you are going to land earlier or later than originally scheduled. Depending on the airport of arrival, and the length of your flight, we will despatch your chauffeur to arrive 30 minutes after the updated landing time of your flight. Your chauffeur will be waiting between the doors into the Arrivals Hall (after baggage reclaim and HM Customs) and the Airport Information Desk. He will be promintently displaying your name and flight number and will be ready to help you with your luggage.
If you are travelling with hand baggage only, please advise us and we will have your chauffeur arrive a little earlier.
If you are unable to locate your chauffeur then please call the mobile telephone number which was provided with your booking confirmation. Failing this, please ask Airport Information to use their public address system and stay by the Airport Information Desk as your chauffeur will return here to find you.
If you are arriving home from holiday, then, as an complimentary service, your chauffeur will stop at a supermarket, garage, or convenience store to allow you to buy a few essentials for your first few hours at home. We allow 15 minutes for this stop so please don't think that you can do a month's shopping!
Important note regarding late arrivals:
We always leave a substantial margin in our schedules to allow for late flights. However, if your flight is several hours late then in exceptional circumstances we may not be able to meet you. If this should occur then we will endeavour to engage the services of another company to meet you. We will send a text message to your mobile phone informing you of the new arrangements or notifying you that you will need to make alternative arrangements. If we cannot secure a chauffeur to meet your revised schedule and you have paid for the return journey in advance, then we will make a full refund for that journey.
Our inclusive waiting time commences 30 minutes after the advertised landing time of your flight. This means that from the time of landing you have one and a half hours to meet your chauffeur. This should be more than adequate. However, if you are late meeting your chauffeur then there will be an additional charge.
